Self Grade: Self-Grade: I am going to give myself a 7/10. I am giving myself a 7/10 because I have photos, but I do not have a proper photo edit ready. I believe that my photos interpret sound. If I had been given more time I would have been able to make a decent or more proper photo edit. I will have another edit ready soon, and will try my best to get better photos.
Reflection: Reflection: Although I am not the best photographer, and can't use Photoshop to it's full potential I still have achieved a lot from this contest. I know I probably won't make it into the MOPA exhibit, but because I was pushed to get these photos done, I tried my best to do them. I still hope I am able to get a decent grade on this, because I honestly had a lot of fun doing my Photoshop edits, as well as taking my photos.
Artist Statement: Sound waves is what allows your ears to hear music and noise. Through my Photoshop edit, I depict a symphony flowing out of a mouth. The symphony represents how voices are like music, and should be treated as important and worth listening to. Behind the symphony is a type of sound recording wave. This represents the volume and the voice's speech. I decided to set it in space to make it a bit dynamic. This is because in space, you aren't supposed to hear sound, but by placing my edit in space, it defies the boundaries of sound.
