This photo was taken by candid photographer, Olivia Bee. I enjoy this photo because it is very creative. Her outfit, and skin tone, along with her overall persona contrast drastically with the background. In addition, the fact that her face is blurry adds a layer of humanity to the photo, as well as aesthetic. The cropping is good and the lighting is natural and florescent. Overall one of my favorite photos I have seen all year.

This is a photo that I took of The San Diego Museum of Art. I enjoy this photo because of the focus, which is sharp and helps to tell the story. The image is also light up nicely and has a few people walking and sitting candid, which gives the photo complexity. There are some things I could have improved, such as the cropping, and trying to make the photo be straight. Overall I am proud of this photo.
This is a photo that I took of my brother at his first holy communion. Firstly, I am very proud of myself for taking this photo, it looks professional and it makes me so happy. The light that comes into the side makes it look perfect for the occasion the focus is also sharp, but a bit too sharp. The cropping looks great, but I wish I could have fit the rest of the kneeler into the frame. Overall, the photo may not be perfect but, I think it looks great.
This photo was taken by photographer, Olivia Bee. I enjoy this photo, firstly, for the emotion. Although the photo is underwater, she still manages to capture a strong emotion between the two photo subjects. Secondly the photo is cropped nicely, to put not so much of the photo out, but not too much of it in, overall very aesthetic. Thirdly, the focus is sharp, yet fuzzy because of it being underwater. The sunlight coming from the top brings a mood to the photo. Overall one of my favorite photos from a photographer this semester.
This photo was taken by self-portrait photographer, Kyle Thompson. I enjoy this photo for many reasons. First of all, the cropping is nice and follows the rule of thirds. Secondly, the idea the execution is creative and dynamic. The lighting is also dramatic and soft. Lastly the focus is sharp, yet subtle. Everything in this photo really works together ad creates a nice and simple mood.
This photo was entered for the category of color in the SDC Fair. This photo was taken by a student photographer. I enjoy this photo because of the cropping. The composition is also nice and by having the hat in the corner, it makes the viewer think about multiple things. In addition the focus is not so great. It is too sharp, perhaps over edited. This damages the quality of the photo, mostly the background. I think it's a good photo but, some things could have been done better.
Self-Grade: I believe that I did an excellent job on my events. I have a group caption for each event, which saves me the time of captioning them individually. In addition, I have five events from January to April. However I am missing an event from May. I have one event that I can upload last minute. Once I upload it, i'll haven an event from every month. Then I will deserve to be graded higher. I give myself a 300/300 or 295/300.This photos was one of the very first photos I took on the camera that my dad bought me. I enjoy this photo because it interesting, however it is clear that I just got this camera and was trying to figure out how it worked. For example, the photo is focused on the rock on the bottom. The main focus is also hard to determine, is it the frog, is it the plant? It's kinda hard to tell since neither of them are in focus. The lighting is about the only saving grace of this photo.
This is a photo I took of my little sister in a 7-11. There are so many things I could have done to improve this photo. I could have improved the composition by asking my uncle to move a bit. I could have improved the focus by letting my camera linger a little longer. Lastly, I could have improved the lighting by stepping back a bit more. Her expression is actually the best part in this image.
